Turn a TV into a screen for promotions, menus, or notices. For an Android box setup, you need an HDMI TV, a box connected to the internet, and a Lucimark account. No box yet? You can also start at player.lucimark.com in any browser, using the computer you already have. The plan for one screen is free, with the features included in it.
The box is the small device that plays content on the TV. From your computer, you choose what to show and publish the changes.
Quick start: try it in a browser, without an Android box
For a quick start, open player.lucimark.com in any browser. You do not need an Android box or an app installation for this first test.
- Open the Player in your browser and wait for the QR code and registration code.
- In another tab, open Lucimark Studio and follow step 3 below to register the screen using the code shown in your browser.
- Follow step 4 to publish your first image and assign the playlist to the registered screen.
- Return to the Player tab to see your content. Keep that tab open and your computer awake during the test; use your browser’s full-screen mode if you prefer.
With this option, you can skip steps 1 and 2, which cover the box installation. If you already have an Android box and want to connect it to your TV, follow the preparation below.
What to gather for the Android box setup
| Item | Reference cost |
|---|---|
| TV or monitor with HDMI input | Use a screen you already have. It does not need to be Smart. |
| Proeletronic SmartPRO PROSB-3000/16GB box | R$ 219.90, as checked on 2026-09-05 |
| HDMI cable, power supply, remote, and batteries for the box | Included in the advertised kit |
| Internet and a computer | Use what you already have |
| Lucimark free plan for one screen | R$ 0 / month |
| Mount, extra cables, and installation if needed | Separate budget |
With a TV and internet available, the basic purchase in this example is the box, plus shipping. Power, installation, and finishes have separate costs. Check the price and kit contents in the official Proeletronic store.
We recommend the SmartPRO as an entry option to start with one screen and simple content, such as one image or one video at a time. It runs Android 10, with 2 GB of memory and 16 GB of storage. To build a network or require continuous operation, test the device with your schedule before buying several units.
Also have a JPG or PNG image saved on your computer. It can be a promotion with a photo, a price, and large type.
1. Connect the TV and the box
Choose a visible spot, without strong glare, with a power outlet and internet nearby. Use a proper mount if you fix the TV to the wall, and keep the devices ventilated.
- With the devices off, connect the HDMI cable between the box and the TV.
- Plug the power supply into the box and the outlet. Turn the devices on.
- On the TV remote, press Input, Source, or Entrada and choose the connection in use, such as HDMI 1.
Did the box menu appear? Now use the box remote to continue.
2. Connect to the internet and open the app
In the box settings, open Wi-Fi, choose your network, and enter the password. This model uses the 2.4 GHz band. You can also connect the box to the router with an Ethernet cable.
If you need the screen to come back on its own after a power cut, follow the kiosk mode step-by-step before you set up the box or add a Google account. That preparation is different from the initial Play Store install described below.
On the box, open the Google Play Store, search for Lucimark Player, and install it. Sign in with a Google account if the store asks.
Open the app. When a QR code and a registration code appear, move to the next step. If you cannot find the app, see the help at the end of this guide.
3. Register your screen in Lucimark
On your computer:
- Open Lucimark Studio, the panel where you control content.
- Sign in to your account, or follow the steps to create one and register your company.
- Open Screens → Add screen.
- Type the five-character code shown on the TV or in the Player browser tab.
- Give it a name, such as Reception TV, and save.
If you prefer to start from your phone, point the camera at the Player’s QR code and open the link.
The registered screen will appear in the panel. Next, choose what it will show.
4. Publish your first image
- In Studio, open Gallery → Add → Upload files and send your image.
- Open Playlists and create a new one. A playlist is a list of content that plays on the screen.
- Add a frame, like a presentation slide, and put the Gallery image in it. Start with a single area filling the whole screen.
- Click Publish.
- In Playlists → Assign to screens…, choose the screen you registered.
Wait for it to load. When your image appears on the TV or in the Player browser tab, the first publish is done.
To change the message, edit that playlist and publish again. The device running the Player needs an internet connection to receive the change.
If you create a new creative, use 1920 × 1080 pixels for a landscape TV or 1080 × 1920 pixels for portrait. In portrait, as at Nena Bolos, check whether the TV allows that install and set the screen orientation in Lucimark.
5. Check that it works
Look at the screen from the audience distance: is the text readable, and does the image show in full?
Check whether the TV and the box have sleep, screen saver, or auto power-off enabled. Tune those options to your hours of use. Restart the box and confirm the image comes back; if the menu opens, enter the Player with the remote.
Let the schedule run through a test before you use it with customers.
Next, refine the finish
At Nena Bolos, the frame brings the screen closer to the store’s identity. Content changes on the TV; the brand stays around it.
You can use:
- Branded ACM: an aluminum-faced panel cut as a frame and wrapped with your brand artwork.
- LED strip behind the frame: an option for soft indirect light. Prefer a gentle effect, without flicker or glare on the screen.
- Backdrop panel and hidden cables: help organize the setup and match the room.
Ask a visual communication shop for a quote, including artwork, material, cutting, mounting, and installation. For LED, include the power supply and electrical assembly.
I want a branded ACM frame for my TV, inspired by Nena Bolos. I will send the model, measurements, and a photo of the location. I need a quote with and without LED lighting, including installation.
The frame does not replace the TV mount, and it does not weatherproof a regular TV for rain. The install should keep ventilation and access to the devices.
One switch to power the whole set on and off
Another optional accessory is the NovaDigital MS-105 Mini Wi-Fi smart switch.
With a proper install, it controls power for the TV, the box, and the lighting together, through a physical switch wired to the module or from a phone.
The NovaDigital or Smart Life app, separate from Lucimark, lets you control the module and schedule hours. It uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.
Have an electrician install it and confirm the module can handle all the devices. Keep the router off that switched circuit.
The TV and the box need to be ready to resume playback when power returns. Test that recovery before you schedule hours, and avoid cutting power during updates.
Need help?
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| The TV shows “No signal” | Check the cable and select the correct HDMI input. |
| The Wi-Fi network does not appear | Check that a 2.4 GHz network is available. |
| The Player does not show in the store | On the Lucimark site, look for Resources → Lucimark Player (APK). That is the install file; ask support for help installing it. |
| The promotion does not appear | Check the internet, and whether the playlist was published and assigned to the screen. |
| The image is cropped | Look on the TV for “Fit to screen” or an equivalent option. |
| The internet dropped | Content already downloaded can keep playing. New updates and online features need the connection. |
Start with one image and the Lucimark free plan for one screen. After the first publish, add new messages and the finishes that fit your business.
